1000 Cranes Logo & Information Graphic Poster

Client: 1000 Cranes (personal work in progress) Objective: Create a logo, website and brand with the intention of teaching an audience how to fold origami paper cranes while promoting a peaceful world. The brand is meant to promote peace as taught by Sadako Sasaki and further promote the paper crane as a symbol of nuclear disarmament. Approach: As an artist the paper crane has always baffled me as to how it was created. As there is no known origin of the origami paper crane attached to anyone person. Having reversed engineered paper cranes and being an avid origami enthusiast, I have been fascinated with the geometric and architectural forms of the paper crane. Taking inspiration from form and beauty, I created the logo to represent the skeletal linear form but from a forward facing view.
